Transportation Design: Rural Reconstruction

KL Engineering completed the design of 1 mile of urban and rural reconstruction in the Village of Theresa. The roadway’s vertical alignment and typical section were designed to minimize impacts to adjacent property owners; intersections were realigned and storm sewer redesigned. The project also included a right-of-way plat, public involvement and complete PS&E preparation.
KL Engineering worked with the Village of Theresa to accommodate future development along the project and participated in a “real estate blitz” in order to streamline real estate acquisition. This $720,000 project was constructed in 2001.
